RUSAL boosts aluminum output 1.1% to 931,000 tns in Jul-Sep

MOSCOW, Oct 23 (PRIME) -- Production of Russian aluminum giant UC RUSAL rose 1.1% on the quarter to 931,000 tonnes in July-September, as seen by PRIME in the company’s materials on Monday.

In January–September, the company’s aluminum output rose 0.3% on the year to 2.763 million tonnes, it said.

Aluminum sales fell 3.4% on the quarter to 968,000 million tonnes in July-September, with the average price rising 2.1% to $2,124 per tonne. In January-Sepember, sales rose 2% on the year to 2.955 million tonnes, and the average price increased 19.9% to $2,051 per tonne.
